While convincing our bosses to allow naps and recess is a long shot, eating delicious snacks is not! A variety of delicious recipes can be found easily online that only take a few minutes to make. One key plus is that this is an incredibly affordable way to enjoy an afternoon snack. Making a large batch will save you a bundle and lasts for quite awhile. Adding nuts to the mix is also a great source of energy that will give you that much needed boost throughout the day. Just for fun, try getting the office involved by suggesting a granola contest. Everyone can bring in a bag of their favorite homemade granola concoction, and you'll get inspired by the individual flavors. Best of all, you'll be snacking healthy at work while networking!

Homemade Trail MixTrail mix is another awesome snack that's easy to make at home and can be easily stored at work for when those cravings occur.
