While eating your breakfast, try your hand at multi tasking by creating a plan for your day. It's best to stay busy and avoid extensive down time. When your bored at work, fatigue begins to set in. When fatigue sets it, productivity drops! A detailed daily plan will help you stay on track. Make a list of daily goals for your days. Assign each goal an estimated time of completion. As your morning gets underway, check off each task one by one for a little boost of motivation!

As sitting in your office chair for extended periods of time can actually shorten your lifespan, it's incredibly important to take short breaks every hour. While you might not be able to take a walk outside each time you need a break, you can definitely find the time to stretch at your desk! Simple deskercises involving your chair and office surroundings promote improved health, constant movement, and good blood flow that will help your day run smoothly.

Before you leave the office each day, you'll want to properly organize your space to ensure its ready to roll the next morning. Take the time to organize your file cabinet drawers and put away all the stationary that's currently taking up desk-top real estate. Water your office plants, take out the trash, clean glass surfaces, and vacuum. Cleaning at the end of the day is simple, but it yields big time results. When you return to a well organized space the following morning, you'll be more at ease and ready to tackle the demands of your rigorous work day.
